Kansas RB wants more

Hoisington, Kan., two-star running back Cameron Horesky hopes to work his way this season toward more scholarship offers. The 6-foot-3, 190-pounder already has one offer on the table, but he'd definitely like to get even more.
"I get things from Kansas, Kansas State, Wyoming, and Pitt State, too," Horseky said. "Wyoming is the only one who has offered. The others are still waiting to see how this season pans out. I haven't talked to Kansas or Kansas State in a while. I'm thinking K-State is more focused on being prepared for their game than anything else."

So is there anybody he'd like to hear more from?
"Probably Oklahoma State," he said. "I love the facilities and the coach. Their coach is a real good coach. I liked him on the junior day visit and they know what they're doing down there. It's definitely a program on the rise. "
One thing that Horesky does have going for him is his versatility.
"I'm playing corner on the defense and running back on offense," he said. "I probably prefer running back. I love the physical part and getting the ball, scoring touchdowns is always fun. I like getting hit and trying to run people over. I'm more power, with a bit of some finesse, I guess you'd say.
"But I'm probably more of a slot receiver in college than anything else. I have good hands and I think I could fit in good at a school playing in the slot."
Don't expect a quick decision from Horesky.
"I'll probably wait until the end of the year to take visits," he said. "I'm taking my Wyoming visit during basketball season, I think. It'll be at the end of the year. It's not officially scheduled yet, I have to talk to the coaches up there, but it will be some time in December probably."
And when he does decide, he does have a few things in mind that the perfect school must have.
"It'll probably have to do with the coaching staff," he said. "That'd be one. The school is probably the most important one, how the classes and stuff like that are. What kind of majors they have. I have to get my education or my parents will shoot me."
