Kansas RB training hard this summer

Salina (Kan.) St. John's Military running back Raymond Parker has been working on his game this spring and will continue to work during the summer months as he prepares for his final season of high school football.
"Raymond did go to the NIKE camp in Manhattan earlier this month," St. John's coach Mike Reid said. "He has left the campus here for the summer and he will be doing some training in Memphis. He will be attending the offense-defense camp in Dallas in June then attending the IMG Training Facility down in Tampa in early July."

The Alexandria, Va. native's hard work will likely catch the eye of college coaches, some who also saw him in action during the NIKE camp.
"Colorado State has stayed in contact," Reid said. "We've also heard from Kansas State, Princeton and Michigan State."
The 5-foot-8, 188-pound Parker rushed for 1,650 yards during his junior season.
