Kansas RB taking unofficial visit

Wichita (Kan.) Southeast running back Joseph Randle has seen the list of scholarship offers grow already this spring. The list now stands at eight and one of the schools will play host to the talented Kansan this weekend.
"I will be going up to Kansas State this weekend for an unofficial visit," the 6-foot, 180-pound Randle said. "I am going up there this weekend for the K-State vs. KU basketball game. I'll get to talk to the football coaches while I am up there, too."

In addition to an offer from the Wildcats, Randle holds offers from Illinois, Miami, Ole Miss, Stanford, Arizona, Louisville and Texas A&M.
Randle, the younger brother of former Kansas running back John Randle, also is hearing from the Jayhawks.
"I hear from KU a lot. I don't have an offer from them, but they have been in touch with me. I don't know that I have a favorite school right now. I like K-State and I've been talking to Oklahoma, too.
"I can't go to a lot to the junior day visits I've been invited to, because I'm playing basketball. I'm going to try to get to some more schools for unofficial visits."
The 2008 season saw Southeast come up short of qualifying for the state playoffs.
"Our season went pretty well," Randle said. "We had a whole new team. It was challenging and everything. We started off real good and ended it good. We should be really good next year. The whole team is back and I'm looking forward to a great senior year."
During his junior season, Randle had over 1,000 all purpose yards and 15 touchdowns.
