Donnie Anders has become one of the top players in the state of Kansas this season while putting up eye-popping numbers for Salina (Kan.) Central.
"He has been to K-State games a couple times," Jackie Anders, Donnie's mother said. "They have invited him to come up and he's been there. He's going to the KU game this weekend when they play Nebraska. Oklahoma wanted him to come for a game. The one they wanted him to come wouldn't work for him."
Other schools recruiting Anders are Missouri and Colorado State. "Coach Deiner has been helping a lot. He sends the tapes out to the schools that want them."
Anders has rushed for 2,400 yards in nine game this season.
