Kansas RB headed to junior college

Liberal, Kan. running back Kenny Wilson is the highest rated running back yet to make a decision.
“I am probably going to have to go to junior college,” the 6-foot-2, 215-pound Wilson said. “It’s been a little while since Kansas State has called me. I really like them, but I probably am not going to be able to go Division I. They’re my top school, though.”

The Wildcats were joined by Missouri and Kansas earlier in the process, but the other two Big 12 schools dropped the four-star running back from their lists earlier in the process.
“I have visited several junior colleges here in Kansas,” he said. “I’ve been to Dodge City, Butler County and Hutchinson so far. I will go to Garden City this weekend. Right now, I’m favoring Butler, but I’m done with the visits.”
While the four-year school will have to wait a couple of years, Wilson knows he’ll be back.
“I’ll get there,” the No. 14 rated running back said. “I’ll go and prove I can play some more and then get to that level.”
