Kansas QB takes first visit

Pittsburg, Kansas quarterback Dylan Meier has returned from his first official visit.
"He did take an official trip to K-State last weekend," Pittsburg head coach Merle Clark said. "He said he had a real good time. Of course he knows a lot about the area with his brother having played there."

Clark said Meier is receiving plenty of attention from college recruiters. "He is getting some interest from several of the Big 12 schools. And of course Pitt State and some other D-2 schools would love to have him."
When asked what position Meier was receiving the attention for, Clark responded "He's a quarterback. The schools are recruiting him for the position he has always played."
Clark did not know if other schools had set up official visits for Meier or not. "I'm not sure what the schedule looks like for him. He is still looking around, I do know that. He didn't commit to K-State."
