Kansas QB holding two scholarship offers
Derby, Kan. quarterback Nick Reid is slowly watching the recruiting process develop in front of his eyes. The Kansas prepster has landed his second scholarship offer to date.
"I got an offer from Oklahoma State the other day. I'm pretty excited about getting that one," Reid said. "That and the one from Kansas are the only offers I have so far."

"I'd say the Jayhawks are near the top of the list right now. I'm going up there for their first game (Sept. 1) for a visit."
Reid, a 6-foot-4, 200-pound quarterback for Derby High School could get looks at some other positions for college. "I'm hearing from some schools about maybe other positions."
Reid threw for over 1,000 yards as a junior while rushing for over 1,600.
