Hays, Kan. quarterback Marcus Watts is receiving some late season attention.
"I visited K-State this past weekend," the 6-foot-2, 180 pound Watts said. "I had a real good time."

Watts, one of the better athletes in Kansas, is being recruited to play safety by both K-State and Southern Illinois. "I played quarterback all along but I'm being recruited as a safety. I'm not picky. I'll play wherever they need me to play."
Watts is still waiting for his first scholarship offer. "Southern Illinois will probably offer me if I go visit. I've got basketball games Friday and Saturday. They're talking about a visit over this coming weekend. K-State is going to call me Thursday to talk about the scholarship situation."
An injury limited Watts a little during his senior season. "I had a partial tear of my MCL this season. I missed one game because of it. I'm healed up just fine."
