Kansas prospect to see Wildcat program

La Cygne (Kan.) Prairie View defensive end Brody Eldridge picked up an offer two weeks ago from Bob Stoops’ Oklahoma Sooner program. Now, he prepares for his first road trip of the week to see another top program in the Big 12 Conference.
“Brody is going up to Manhattan tomorrow with his coach,” Eldridge’s mother, Janet, said. “They are going to get a chance to get up there and watch them practice in the morning. After practice, they are going to be able to sit down and visit with (K-State recruiting coordinator) Joe Bob Clements.”

Does the 6-foot-5, 231-pound Eldride expect an offer from the Big 12 Champions?
“We don’t know what might happen tomorrow,” Mrs. Eldridge said. “That’s why he’s going up there, so he can talk to them and get an idea of what they might be thinking. He does not have an offer from them yet, but we don’t know when, or if, that might happen.”
Eldridge, the state of Kansas’ No. 3 rated prospect, has offers from the Oklahoma State, Arizona, Kansas and TCU in addition to the Sooners’ offer.
