Kansas OL takes K-State visit

Conway Springs, Kan. offensive lineman Caleb Handy committed to Kansas State during the summer. This past weekend, he took his official visit to Manhattan.
“The visit went well,” the 6-foot-2, 300-pound Handy said. “I had a good time. We had a lot of great meals. Most of the stuff we did while I was there was stuff I had done one time or another when I was up there. We took some tours and had some meetings.”

Handy was hosted by Wildcat offensive lineman Ryan Lilja on his official visit.
“Ryan was really nice to be around,” he said. “He’s been there for a couple years and told me what it was like for him. He’s had a very good season.”
Handy, who missed his senior season with a knee injury, is progressing well through the rehabilitation.
“I’m progressing really well on rehab,” he said. “The doctors and therapists think I’m coming along very fast.”
