After earning early scholarship offers from Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Michigan State, Haselhorst received written offers from Kansas State and Arizona on Tuesday.
“I guess this changes things up,” Haselhorst, who is 6-foot-4 and 284 pounds, said. “I’m really up in the air now. I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
Haselhorst said he is really excited about the scholarship offer from the Wildcats, a team that he has been following closely while growing up.
“I was excited about the K-State offer because I like the coaches, and I'd love to play for them,” Haselhorst said.
“You'll just have to see if it works out. I really don’t know much about Arizona. I think we’re going to check it out and see what it’s like. We don’t have a date set yet, but it will be this summer.”
Haselhorst is also considering Colorado, Oklahoma, LSU, Michigan, and Oklahoma. He’s only camped at Oklahoma this summer because of tonsil surgery.
“I’m feeling so much better now,” he said.
