Kansas lineman looking at options

Junction City, Kan., offensive lineman Justin Aumen took his first official visit earlier this month. As the calendar prepares to turn to January, the two-star rated prospect looks to see what all options are available.
"Justin is still receiving interest from Kansas State and Oklahoma at the Division I-A level," Aumen's father Jeff said. "At the I-AA level he is receiving interest from South Dakota State, Northern Iowa and Missouri State. At the Division II level he has been talking to Northwest Missouri State and Pitt State.

"All of the junior colleges in Kansas have offered and a California junior college has been in touch. I think he will be getting more calls when we get into January."
The 6-foot-5, 288-pound Aumen took his first official visit the weekend of January 19 when he traveled to Missouri State.
"Missouri State was an official visit and they offered a full ride to him. I am not sure at this point if he is close to making a decision or if he is going to wait a a few more weeks and see what else may happen.
"There have been several coaching staff changes in schools that have been recruiting him. I know he liked the coaching staff and school at Missouri State and felt very comfortable there."
In order to be sure the new staff at Kansas State had film, Aumen dropped film off at the Wildcat football offices.
"He did drop some more film off at Kansas State and Jay Kaiser told him he is a Kansas kid they are looking at and would like to get him on the field, but they are waiting until they get the offensive staff on board so they can review film."
