Kansas LB leaning to D-2

Douglass, Kan. linebacker Chad Beisel is leaning toward picking a Divsion-II school.

"Chad is not hearing from anyone really for scholarship wise," Douglass High School coach Doug Beisel said. "Mostly smaller schools are showing the most interest. He's got offers right now from Emporia State and from Pittsburg State. Washburn has talked about getting involved too."

Beisel is the younger brother of former K-State All-American Monty Beisel. "With me being a teacher and the choice to walk-on at a Division-1 school and taking a full-ride to another place. It isn't much to decide. Now if older brother Monty (currently with the Kansas City Chiefs) wants to come in and write the check for the tuition he might have some interest in walking on somewhere."
