Kansas LB holding one offer

Liberal, Kan., linebacker Mackenzie Rosel received an offer from an in-state school earlier this fall, but one other in-state school continues to express interest.
“I’m just kind of in a waiting period,” the 6-foot-2, 200-pound Rosel said. “K-State is the only offer I have, still. And I am going to take an official visit Dec. 10 to Manhattan. I’m looking forward to that. Really, K-State is the only school that is talking to me.

“I did take an unofficial visit to Kansas a couple weeks ago. I thought it went well. I got to meet a lot of people and talk to the coaches. I got a letter from them telling me they would be in touch with me and that was the last I heard.”
The Wildcats have been in touch with Rosel since early in the season and have established a lead at this point in the race for Rosel’s talents.
“I hope Kansas will offer me. I don’t know this late in the game what that would do. K-State is a great school and has been there a long time. Not taking anything away from either place, but the more options the better you feel about a choice.”
Rosel helped lead Liberal to an 8-3 record this season while leading the Sunflower State in tackles.
