Kansas LB follows brother

Linebacker Nathan Pauly decided to go ahead and end the recruiting process and he’s still pleased with his decision.
“He committed to Colorado State,” Conway Springs coach Mark Bliss said. “His brother Eric plays linebacker out there and we’ve kind of known all along that is where Nathan would probably end up.”

Pauly is the leader of the Conway Springs defense.
“Our defense is designed to get double teams on our linemen and allow our linebackers to make plays. Nathan does that well.”
Through two games, Pauly has 24 tackles and two quarterback sacks.
“Nathan played real well last Friday in our game against No. 3 Hesston,” Bliss said. “We’re ranked No. 1 and it isn’t very often that the second game of the year you get a playoff atmosphere game. We had 3,000 people there and Nathan performed like the player he is.”
Pauly chose Colorado State over Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and Wyoming.
