Size & Speed:Pauly is 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds. He was clocked in the 40-yard dash at 4.69 seconds.
Statistics: As a junior, Pauly recorded 145 tackles, 6.5 sacks, seven pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and three interceptions.
Honors: “He will be a four-year letterman when he leaves here,” Conway Springs head coach Mark Bliss said. “Last year he was named a unanimous All-League selection for the second year in a row. He was also named a first team All-State choice after last season. He was also one of two juniors to be on the Wichita Eagle Top 33 team.”
Schools: Pauly’s brother being at Colorado State has given Sonny Lubick a head start. “He’s familiar with everything about Coloarado State since he and his family have gone to lots of games there and watched Eric play.”
Other schools Pauly is looking at include Kansas State, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt and Iowa State.
Skinny: The Rams have been in the family’s living room already and that will help. Relax NCAA officials. It was three years ago, when Pauly’s older brother Eric was a senior at Conway Springs. “He’s had the opportunity to see the Colorado State program up close for the last few years. He is interested in what is going on at Kansas with the new coaching staff too.”
“He’s the type of kid who just makes plays all over the field. He has great pursuit of the ball.”
