Kansas LB feeling more attention

Hutchinson, Kan. linebacker Sam Tossie is being recruited by several schools around the area.
"Sam is a player with a lot of talent," Hutchinson coach Randy Dreiling said. "He's fast. He's strong. He has the size that would allow him to get as big as he needed to in college. He's going to be a real good college player."

Tossie's father is the head coach at Sterling (Kan.) College and Tossie is in his first year at Hutchinson High School.
"He's been a good addition to our team. It's been a pleasure to coach him this year."
At this point of the recruiting process, Dreiling said two schools have shown they are very intersted in his 6-foot-2, 240-pound linebacker.
"Kansas and Kansas State have both had him up a couple of times already this year. They are the ones recruiting him the most, I would say. Purdue and Missouri have been in contact too. I don't know how much they are recruiting him, but they have been in touch with him. None of the schools have made scholarship offers at this point, though."
