Kansas juco WR taking his time

Standout three-star junior college receiver Cedric Houston of Ft. Scott (Kan.) Community College is one of the better receivers in the juco ranks. However, the 6-foot-1, 201-pounder said he's still waiting to get more involved in the recruiting process.
"I think since I get out this spring most teams are taking their time," Houston, the nation's No. 30 juco player, said. "Most say they want me to come out and visit in January. That's my plan – to take January official visits."

Houston, who is originally from Kissimmee, Fla., is getting regular contact from Arkansas, Ole Miss, Purdue, UAB, USF and Kansas. He was getting weekly calls from the previous Kansas State coaching staff.
"I'm just waiting it out," Houston said. "I don't have any favorites, and I'm going to let my visits with the schools determine what I think. But I have to take them first."
Houston had 32 receptions for 525 yards and five touchdowns as a sophomore. He will have three years to play two seasons when he graduates in May.
