Kansas Juco TE makes choice
Independence (Kan.) Community College tight end Ray Gurley has made his college decision.

"Ray visited Southern Mississippi this past weekend," Independence coach Kent Keith said. "He came back and told me he had committed to them on his visit. We discussed it a little further and he told me was sure that was where he wanted to go."
The 6-foot-5, 256-pound Gurley had visited Tulsa and San Jose State previously and was slated to travel to Arizona (Dec. 6) and Nebraska (Dec. 13).
"Ray had me call the coaches at Arizona and Nebraska and inform them he was not going to be making his visits the next two weekends. He was that solid with his decision."
