Kansas juco safety heading West

One of the top safeties in the Kansas junior college ranks has just made up his mind and figured out where he’s going to sign with on Wednesday, the first day that mid-term junior college prospects can sign with Division I schools.
Ft. Scott (Kan.) Community College three-star safety Tim Harris has committed to Utah, after making an official visit there this past weekend.

“He came in here today and told us he’s going to Utah,” said Ft. Scott defensive line coach Mike Mutz. “He’s a really versatile player. He played both corner and safety. He’s good in man-to-man situations and can really cover with the best of them.
“Utah is getting one heck of a player here.”
Harris, a native of Pittsburg, Kan., will sign with the Utes on Wednesday.
