Reports and rumors had Coffeyville (Kan.) Community College offensive lineman Paul Soliai headed back to Utah, the school he signed with out of high school. Are they true?
“I’ve heard that I have committed to Utah,” the 6-foot-4, 335-pound offensive guard said. “But, I have not made my college choice. It will be a while.”
Two schools stand out the most at this point.
“I like Utah and UCLA quite a bit right now,” he said. “But, I’m open to more schools. I am sure more recruiters will come by the school in December. I don’t graduate until May, but our coach has told us that the schools would start to pick up after our season.”
Soliai has a few Big 12 schools in the area that he has gotten some mail from and expects to hear more from later in the year.
“Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma State and some others have all been in touch in one way or another,” he said. “But not a lot at this point. I will probably try and take as many visits as I can to try and learn as much about the schools as I can so I can find the best possible place for me.”
