Kansas JC QB has a new caller

Independence (Kan.) Community College quarterback Forrest Mazey has added another school to the list of ones calling him.
"Really the only schools that have been calling until this week were Northern Illinois and Tulsa," Independence coach Kent Keith said.

That changed for the Colgate, Okla. native this week, though.
"This week he got a call from Colorado," Keith said of his 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback. "They are needing some quarterback help after their starter (Craig Ochs) left the team."
Mazey has not lined up any official visits yet and Keith did not believe any scholarship offers were on the table.
"I don't believe either Tulsa or Northern Illinois have offered yet. I think they are both considering it, but nothing yet. Colorado was only calling to express their interest in him. We'll see how that all plays out."
