Kansas JC LB is former Florida star

Dodge City (Kan.) Community College linebacker Leon Cesar has received his first scholarship offer. Cesar is one of several former high school players from Florida on Dodge City's roster this year.

"Leon is originally from Miami Central (High School)," DCCC assistant coach Andy Siegal said. "He's 6-1 and a half, 225 pounds, and runs a 4.5. He's being recruited right now by Miami, LSU, Oklahoma State, Illinois. Oklahoma State has already offered. Miami is just waiting to check on his academics. He'll graduate in December. He'll be a three for two guy. He's having a good year."

Cesar won't set up any official visits until Dodge City's season is complete.
