Conway Springs, Kan. running back Darrin Seiwert will be one of the best in the state of Kansas, but where that takes him for college has yet to be decided.

“Darrin is a pretty good player,” new Conway Springs coach Greg Rosenhagen said. “He has had a real good career and that will help him get noticed as we go through this process.”
At this point, the 6-foot-2, 220-pound Seiwert does not have a favorite school.
“He is real open about everything,” Rosenhagen said. “He is from a farming family and wants to go into agriculture after college. Right now, there are several Big 12 schools and Wake Forest expressing interest. He does not have any scholarship offers so far.”
Only one school has stopped by the school so far this month.
“Oklahoma State was in one day,” the coach said. “They just wanted to find out more about him and they got the chance to meet him. Oklahoma called that same day. They were wanting directions in case they had some extra time when they were in Wichita, but that didn’t work out. Missouri has called. Kansas State has expressed interest too. He’s not leaning anywhere at this point.”
As a junior, Seiwert rushed for 2,507 yards, giving him a career total of 4,377.
“He is an excellent student and he will choose a place that fits into what he wants to do for a career,” Rosenhagen said. “There are several schools that fit his plans, so he will probably have some choices when he gets ready to choose.”
