Kansas DT finalizing visit schedule

"Phil is going to visit Vanderbilt and Oklahoma State in December," Conway Springs coach Mark Bliss said. "I don't know the dates yet. He's working to get those set up."

Another school in pursuit of the 6-foot-5, 270-pound Friess is Kansas.
"Kansas is recruiting Phil. They're looking for a time that will work to get him up to Lawrence too. All of the schools have said they plan on offering him."
Friess helped lead Conway Springs to the school's second straight state championship.
Friess recorded 52 tackles and two sacks in 2002.
"Phil played along both lines for us this year," Bliss said. "He also filled in at tight end when Josh (Barbo) was out with his broken foot."
