Kansas City RB getting good looks

Kansas City (Mo.) Oak Park two-star running back Jarell Childs has had an up and down senior season with a slight injury sidelining him a little bit in one of his early season games.
But he's back now and the college coaches are starting to pay attention.

"A Kansas coach was at the game Friday to see him," Childs father, Vernon Baston, said. "We've not heard any more yet. The Florida Gators contacted him on Saturday and said they liked his game film and would be contacting him again."
Childs continues to get heavy attention from Kansas State, the lone school that has offered him a scholarship. Wisconsin, Wyoming, Kent, Colorado and Missouri have also been involved with him.
Childs, who is 6-foot-3 and 216 pounds, is ranked as the No. 16 player in the state of Missouri. He rushed for 1,333 yards and had 38 tackles in 2006.
