Kansas City OL picks local school

On Saturday Reid Kirby was sitting in Lawrence watching Kansas play Texas A&M. The next day he gave the Jayhawks a verbal commitment.
“I committed to Kansas,” he said. “They gave me a scholarship offer and that’s what I wanted to do. They were by far the best at recruiting me. They kept telling me they liked me on tape. The other teams stayed in touch but Kansas was on me the whole time. They won the race.”
