Kansas City DB has a solid top three

Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst cornerback/wide receiver Phillip Strozier is starting to put things together in his mind with offers, visits, and favorite schools.
At 6-foot, 185 pounds, the three-star prospect has received written offers from Kansas, Missouri, and Houston with verbal offers on the table from Michigan State and Stanford. Strozier is looking to turn his verbal offers into written ones.

"Michigan State and Stanford said that if I want to come, the offer is out there for me," Strozier said about his verbal offers. "Those two schools are in my top three along with Kansas. It's just basically because those are the schools I'm most interested in right now."
Strozier explained that within his favorites list there is no definite leader. The No. 8 rated prospect in the state of Missouri has yet to think about setting up visits, but his top three schools will get those trips.
His top three has really been pouring on the attention.
"Those teams call a ton and they show a lot of interest with mail and stuff like that," Strozier said.
As for the season, Rockhurst is playing well and the No. 40 rated cornerback prospect is actually making more noise on offense.
"Our defense pretty much is what has helped us and our overall team work," Strozier said. "I don't have any interceptions, but I've five touchdowns on offense from the wide receiver spot."
