Kaleopaa not rushing decision

Koa Kaleopaa is taking his time.
And the La Mirada, Calif., three-star linebacker is enjoying the recruiting process.

Kaleopaa, a 6-foot-3, 250-pound recruit, said he's mainly focused on the rest of his senior season and then will consider official visits when things are wrapped up on the field.
He's not nervous about his recruitment, either. There are still a few months for the three-star to take trips and then make his decision and Kaleopaa at this point is concerned more about playing well than making his pledge.
"Everything is good," Kaleopaa said. "There's nothing much really new. I haven't decided on my officials yet. We have two bye weeks so we're just lifting and conditioning right now.
"They're most likely going to happen after the season, like after playoffs, that's when I'll start getting serious about official visits."
Even though the main focus is not the recruiting process, Kaleopaa has considered some trips and where he'd like to go.
Cal and Ole Miss are two likely destinations and then there is a group of other programs that the La Mirada recruit is still considering.
"I definitely want to see Cal and I want to see Ole Miss," Kaleopaa said. "There is a possibility I could go to Wyoming, Utah and Colorado, too. I'm still not sure. I'm still taking my time with everything.
"It's been nice. Since I've been taking it slow I haven't been stressing out about where I'm going. I've just been taking it slow."
In total, Kaleopaa lists offers from Arizona, Arkansas, Cal, Colorado, Hawaii, Ole Miss, Utah and Wyoming.
