Kaepernick still playing the waiting game

One of the top quarterbacks we saw both locally as well as nationally this past summer was Turlock (Calif.) Pitman's Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick has a live arm and was one of the last players on the bubble to make the final EA SPORTS Elite 11. Unfortunately for the signal caller, he has been receiving more interest in baseball than for football this year.
Kaepernick, 6-4, 175 pounds had a solid showing at the NorCal Nike camp and then really impressed at the Elite 11 workout at Cal the following day. Where he really shined was at the final Elite 11 workout in Las Vegas where he out threw just about every quarterback in attendance.

With a strong senior season, we expected Kaepernick's stock to soar but that hasn't been the case so far.
"I'm definitely hearing more from baseball coaches than football right now," Kaepernick said. "My only offers so far are for baseball. Fresno State and UC Davis and I've set an official visit to Notre Dame for (Nov. 4)."
Kaepernick is one of the state's top pitching prospects and competed at the prestigious Area Code Baseball games in August. He has a 90+ MPH fastball and is hearing from some of the nation's top baseball programs including Arizona State and Tennessee.
As for football:

They're having a good season and were one of the first schools to show interest in me. My other favorites right now would be UCLA, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona State and Stanford."Here to view this Link.
