Justin sets up first visit

In conjunction with the CA State Bowl games this past weekend, a SPARQ challenge was held featuring some of the top athletes from the class of 2007 and 2008. One of the better looking players in attendance was Culver City defensive back Tyrone Justin who updated us on what the latest was on his recruitment.
Justin, 5-10, 160 pounds is one of the state's top pure cover corners. He had a very good season on both sides of the ball this year and definitely has the ability to play receiver or corner in college. Justin caught 34 balls for 497 yards and eight touchdowns to go with 61 tackles and two picks and averaged 42 yards on three punt returns including one for a score and returned two fumbles for touchdowns.

On the recruiting front, Justin is hearing from a handful of schools and has set up his first official visit.
"The schools showing the most interest in me are UNLV, Nevada, Fresno State, Washington State and Wyoming," Justin said. "I have one visit set up and that's with UNLV for (Jan. 19). I'm going to try and move that visit up to earlier in the month so I don't have to wait so long before I make a decision.
"My dream school right now is Cal, I've always wanted to go there but I'm not hearing from them right now. Cal, UNLV and Washington State are my top three schools. I just took the SAT and scored an 1160 and I'll be taking the ACT on February 10. Right now, I'm just working on my grades and running and lifting like crazy as well."
