Junior WR Hubbard drawing big-time interest

Lakewood (Ohio) St. Edward junior defensive back Nate Oliver committed to Ohio State on Feb. 1. However Oliver is not the only junior at St. Edward drawing interest from big-time college programs.
Wide receiver Kyle Hubbard is also one of the top junior prospects in the greater Cleveland area.

The 6-foot-4 and 220-pound Hubbard moved into the starting lineup at the beginning of his junior season and by the end had 58 catches for 800 yards, averaging 13.8 per reception. Hubbard scored six times.
An all-conference, all-county, and all-district selection, with his size and production, recruiters are certainly interested.
"I get mail from Michigan, Ohio State, Georgia, and a few others," Hubbard said. "A lot of Big Ten schools are sending mail."
Hubbard has formulated an early list of favorites.
"Miami of Florida, Ohio State, Michigan, and Texas, those are my top choices," Hubbard said. "I went to Michigan for a junior day about a week ago. It was real nice.
"Ohio State has a day at the end of February for juniors. I'll go down to that."
Hubbard began looking at college teams during the season.
"I went to a Michigan game," he said. "I haven't been to an Ohio State game yet, but I think I will."
