Junior to Watch: Travis Frogge

School: Platt City (Mo.) Platte County

Position: Defensive End

Size and speed: Travis Frogge is 6–foot-2 and 250 pounds. He has a 40-yard dash time of 4.75 seconds.

Statistics: His stats were 101 tackles, 14 sacks, four fumble recoveries (one for a touchdown), three passes knocked down and two caused fumbles.

Honors: He was named first team for the following teams all-state, all-metro Kansas City, all-metro St. Joseph, all-district, and all-conference.

Favorite Schools: He is hearing from Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Illinois, UCLA and smaller schools.

He made a junior visit to Nebraska two weeks ago.

"Missouri and Nebraska are probably recruiting the hardest, though Kansas has also started sending quite a bit. Missouri has actually invited me to come watch their spring ball, and Nebraska had me come visit recently, so that definitely shows the most interest to me. At this time Nebraska would be the favorite."

Skinny: "My strength over the offensive player, my quickness off the ball and my hustle for every play would definitely be my strong points."

"Distance will not be a factor, as I'd actually want to get away from this area to explore. I'm going to look at academic standards for my major, and for a good football school. My parents favor Nebraska or Missouri."

He's attended camp at Missouri and plans to attend camps at Missouri's one day camp, Nebraska, and probably Kansas.

He's set his sports goal as repeating as state champions again for the third straight year.
