Position: Wide receiver
Size and speed: Lane is 6-foot and weighs 190 pounds. He runs the 40-yard dash in 4.4 seconds, bench presses 240 and squats 300. He has a 30-inch vertical jump.

Favorite Schools: Virginia, Michigan, Michigan State, Tennessee, North Carolina, Virginia Tech.
Skinny: Lane has good size and tremendous speed but wasn’t utilized at all at Princess Anne High School in Virginia Beach. As a result, Lane transferred to Salem for his senior year and should be able to showcase his talents.
“I’m looking forward to being a bigger part of an offense,” he said. “I don’t think I was able to show what I can do over the last few years.”
Lane doesn’t have any offers yet, but has seen interest from all of his favorite schools and more. He expects to wait until after his senior season to decide.
“I’ll need my senior year to show everyone what I can do,” he said. “I’m also going to camp at the NIKE Camp, Virginia Tech and possibly Virginia and Michigan.”
