Position: Defensive end
Size and speed: Thompson is 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds. He has been timed at 4.8 in the 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Thompson registered 12 sacks and 11 other tackles for losses during his junior season. He has a 3.4 GPA.
Favorite Schools: Northwestern, Miami of Ohio, and Boston College. Purdue, Wisconsin, and Ohio State are also on Thompson's list.
Skinny: Thompson has a chance to be one of the top defensive end prospects in the state of Ohio next season. He is very quick off the ball and works hard.
"So far Miami of Ohio, Northwestern, and Boston College, those are my top three right now," Thompson said.
"And I get letters from Purdue. And I'm interested in Ohio State."
"I plan to visit Northwestern, Miami of Ohio, and possibly Wisconsin during spring break."
