Position: Inside Linebacker
Size and speed: Ryan Dickerson is 5-foot-11 and 220 pounds. He has a 40-yard dash time of 4.7 seconds.
Statistics: Last season he had 54 tackles, six tackles for loss, seven sacks, 18 quarterback hurries, one fumble recovery, and one blocked punt, while playing defensive end.
Honors: Ryan was named to about every feasible team for his play last season.
He was named first team all-conference, all-district, all-Southwest Missouri, all-Ozark and second team all-state.
Favorite Schools: "I haven't gotten any offers. My dream schools would be Nebraska or Colorado."
"My mom would like me to go to Southwest Missouri State, because its close to home. I'd like to visit Nebraska, Colorado State, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Missouri, if I could."
Skinny: "I'm a good leader, a hard worker and very coachable. I'll play where ever the coach puts me, runningback, linebacker, defensive back or on the line as long as I can play the game I love."
He described himself as: "A good sport."
He compared his style of play to Rams all-pro defensive end Grant Wistrom.
"Distance won't be a factor as I'm only looking for a good football program at this time."
Dickerson is undecided on a major, though he has set his sports goals already.
"I want to beat Webb City and set the school sack record of at least 19 sacks, which would lead me to making all-state and possibly high school all-american."
His toughest opposing player was the tight end from Webb City.
He benches 245 pounds, squats 425 pounds, has a vertical leap of 30 inches, a core GPA of 2.8 and will take the ACT in April.
