Juniors to Watch: Roy Lewis
School: Harbor City (Calif.) Narbonne

Position: Outside Linebacker for Narbonne, but projects as a cornerback on the D1 level.
Size and Speed: Roy stands 5-foot-11, weighs in at 180 pounds and runs a 4.45 40-yard dash. He benches 250 pounds, squats 350 pounds and possesses a 33-inch vertical.
Statistics: The stats are unavailable at the present time, but Narbonne assistant coach Craig Armstrong let Rivals know that Roy was among team leaders in every defensive category.
Honors: Lewis was selected all-league as a junior.
Favorite Schools: Lewis is leaving his options open but he is hearing from Oregon, Oregon State, Arizona, ASU, Cal and UNLV among others.
The Skinny: Roy plays outside linebacker on the high school level but look for the talented Mr. Lewis to end up as a cornerback in college. “We need Roy to play where is close to the ball,” said Narbonne assistant coach Craig Armstrong.
Lewis is a tenacious player with tremendous hitting ability. Can you imagine a cornerback with a linebacker’s mentality? “His name is Roy Lewis, but hits like Ray Lewis (Baltimore Ravens),” laughed Armstrong.
Not only is Roy a great football player, but he is a fantastic team leader too. Narbonne expects a lot of big things out of Roy his senior season and if he comes through, look for Narbonne to be in the thick of the city title race. Lewis may even see action as a running back…
