Position: Linebacker
Size and speed: Ricks is 6-foot-3, 235 pounds and runs a 4.7 second 40-yard dash.
Statistics: 110 tackles last season with 15 for a loss and one sack.
Honors: All-league, second team all-area, third team all-county.
Favorite Schools: Rashawn currently has a top five but not in any particular order. Rutgers, Syracuse, Boston College, Pittsburgh and Virginia all lead the pack.
Skinny: Besides Rashawn’s leaders, he has been contacted by more than 25 schools. His typical linebacker frame and mentality make him very desirable to college recruiters. He should receive plenty of offers before September
"I love playing linebacker, but if a school wants to move me to another position that's fine. I just want to play, I'm looking forward to my senior year."
Rashawn has already been to Rutgers for junior day and will be attending Syracuse junior day sometime in February.
"I'd like to visit a few schools before the season starts so that I have a good feel as far as the recruiting goes. We had a couple of players get recruited this past year and I saw how crazy it can get."
