"I haven't planned that far ahead yet," he said about a possible visit schedule.
"I'm pretty much open to my best opportunity anywhere."
His dream school, if they offered, would be Nebraska. "It would be great to go play for a program the quality of Nebraska."
Skinny: "Distance will not really be a factor, as I'm going to be looking for my best opportunity. Mainly the offer, campus environment and education will be what I consider."
"My parents don't really have an opinion, though they are also looking for the best opportunity."
He said of his strong points: "My speed and ability to catch the ball. I have good hands and the quickness to get down field to block. I can also adjust fairly easily when an adjustment is necessary."
He described himself as "a blocking ball-catcher."
He plans to attend camp at Texas Tech, Baylor, and SMU.
He would like to major in chemistry and has set his sports goal as improving his strength and speed before the season starts, so that he can gain more yards this season.
When asked about his toughest opposing player, he said, "I don't know. There isn't one that really stands out."
Field plays forward in basketball and made all-district, while averaging 20 points per game. He is not getting any interest yet, due to his coach not putting him down as a prospective basketball recruit.
