Favorite Schools: Washington is hearing from schools from coast-to-coast. “I am very open regarding what school I will attend, but I have to admit I always liked USC while I was growing up,” said Mark. Besides USC, Mark also likes Oregon, Arizona, Washington, Colorado and Miami.
The Skinny: Mark is a mauler who loves to hit. Washington has great size, speed and aggression – the perfect recipe for a super D1 linebacker recruit.
Mark will be a two-year starter for Poly. He started for Poly right after the Concord (Calf.) DeLaSalle game and never looked back.
Washington is a very coachable young man who listens to what the coach is trying to teach and then applies what he has learned onto the playing field. Washington plays with confidence and he means business when he’s between the lines. Mark hustles all the time and has a motor that doesn’t quit. Another thing to like about Washington is the fact that he always is around the ball. Off the field, Mark is a very humble and reflective individual.
Washington is another standout athlete who transferred to Long Beach Poly so that he could practice with and line up against the best players possible. Mark will be another great player from Poly who should make his mark as a senior…
