Position: Inside Linebacker/Fullback
Size and speed: Kyle Mayden is 6–foot-2 and 235 pounds. He has a 40-yard dash time of 4.62 seconds hand held and 4.80 seconds electronically timed.
Statistics: Last year as a linebacker, he had 136 tackles, two sacks, and three fumble recoveries. As a fullback, he had 175 carries for 1,103 yards, and 13 touchdowns.
Honors: He made first team all-conference, all-district, all-area by the Joplin Globe Newspaper, first team by the All-Southwest Missouri Coaches Association as both a linebacker and a fullback, and first team all-state as a linebacker.
The Joplin Globe nick-named him "helmet crusher" for his hitting ability.
Favorite Schools: Mayden is hearing from Kansas, Kansas State, Arkansas and Missouri, with Kansas and Kansas State recruiting the hardest.
Besides the above schools, he likes Texas, Nebraska, Florida, and Oklahoma State.
Skinny: If he could attend any Div. 1 school in the nation, his dream school would be Florida.
His parents' favorite team would be Missouri.

Mayden benches 290 pounds, squats 415 pounds, had a vertical leap of 28 inches at the Missouri camp last year, and he has a cumulative GPA of 3.8 and an ACT score of 25.
