Statistics: As a junior, McCabe completed 80 passes in 131 attempts for 1,053 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Favorite Schools: Penn State, Virginia, West Virginia, Arizona State, Michigan, Purdue, Boston College.
Skinny: McCabe is one of the top five signal-callers in the Northeast this season and already has offers from Penn State and Virginia with West Virginia close to pulling the trigger as well. He’s been invited to Junior Days at Tennessee, Penn State, West Virginia, Iowa, Syracuse, BC, Virginia, Purdue, Michigan, Pitt, Michigan State, Northwestern, Stanford and others. He follows all the college programs.
“I’m an avid college football fan and I watch every team I can,” he said. “I pay attention to the little things.”
McCabe’s father played at Penn State and the Nittany Lions and Virginia Cavaliers are the two early leaders for this stud quarterback.
“Obviously I’ve followed Penn State for quite some time and it’s a great program,” he said. “I was at Virginia’s summer camp last year and had a great time down there. I also camped at Pitt and this summer I’ll probably do one-day camps at Michigan, Notre Dame, Purdue and some others and we have a team camp at West Virginia.”
McCabe has a strong arm and excellent accuracy, something that is a bit surprising since he just started playing in 9th grade. As good as he is as an individual player, McCabe wants to be known as something else.
“I want to be known as a winning quarterback,” he said. “I don’t want to be just a good-looking camp player.”
