Skinny: Stupar is one of the top tight end prospects in Pennsylvania this year and combines excellent agility and hands with a big frame. He led his team in receptions as a junior and has become their main offensive weapon through the air. Both of Stupar’s parents attended Penn State as well as one of his uncles. Another uncle is former NFL quarterback Jeff Hostetler who played his college ball at West Virginia.
Stupar is getting mail from over 20 different schools at this point although his first offer hasn’t come in yet. He was invited to junior days at Iowa, Michigan State, West Virginia, Virginia, Syracuse and Boston College.
“I’m not sure where I’ll camp this summer,” he said. “All of my favorite schools have great facilities.”
And why isn’t Penn State on his list?
"Actually they just sent me some mail the other day," he said. "I'm also interested in them and they'll be on my list."
Stupar isn’t sure whether he’ll make an early decision or wait until after his senior season.
“I’m wide open right now,” he said. “I don’t know where I want to go just yet.”
