School: Greenwich, Conn.

Position: Center/defensive tackle
Size and speed: John stands 6-foot-4, weighs 270 pounds and runs the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds. He bench presses 350 pounds, squats 500 and has a 28-inch vertical leap.
Statistics: Sullivan had an amazing 65 pancake blocks on offense and 30 tackles for a loss and 12 sacks on defense.
Honors: All-state performer as a sophomore and junior.
Favorite Schools: Notre Dame, North Carolina, Maryland, Boston College, Syracuse, Northwestern, Rutgers, Northwestern, Virginia, UConn.
Skinny: Sullivan is the best player in Connecticut this year and one of the top linemen the state has seen in years. His combination of size, speed and power is uncanny and he already has offers from North Carolina, Maryland, Boston College, UConn, Rutgers and Syracuse.
“Those are the written offers,” he said. “My coach has some verbal offers as well.”
Sullivan went to junior days at Maryland, North Carolina and BC and will participate in one-day camps at each school and possibly others.
“I don’t have a number one school but I grew up a big Notre Dame fan,” he said. “I wanted to make my decision by the time the season started, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to see all the schools I want before then. We’ll see.”
Sullivan is also an accomplished wrestler.
