Size and speed: Joe is 6-foot-4, 215 pounds and runs a 4.7 second 40-yard dash. Joe has a 280-pound max bench press.
Statistics: Last season, Joe was in on 189 tackles. He had two sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and five interceptions, four of them taken back for touchdowns.
Honors: all-conference, all-south Jersey, all-Parochial, parochial group II all-state.
Favorite Schools: No favorites at this time. Joe has been contacted by more than 30 schools and has offers from Rutgers, Boston College and Maryland. He attended the Rutgers, Penn State and Maryland junior days. He will also be heading to Boston College for a junior day.
Skinny: A very athletic linebacker with a nose for the ball. Most college recruiters consider Joe as a big-time prospect with good size and stats to back it up. He has been invited to the Nike Camp at Penn State in April, but is not sure if he will be attending when we last spoke with him. He plans on taking all five visits before making a decision and is working hard in the off-season to get stronger and faster. Being such a good athlete and having the size to play defensive end or tight end as well as linebacker, Kedra will be heavily recruited.
"I really want to play linebacker in college. I feel most comfortable at that position and that's what the schools are recruiting me as. I'll just wait to see what happens."
As Joe continues to grow, so should his offer list. Expect him to have many more offers by the end of the summer.
"I'm looking forward to my senior season. I'm concentrating on working hard in the weight room and running as well."
