Position: Safety
Size and Speed: Finley is 5-foot-11 and weighs 175 pounds. He runs a 4.40 second 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Finley totaled 120 tackles last season with one interception, and also blocked four field goals and one punt. His team went 8-4, losing in the second round of the playoffs.
Honors: First team all-district at safety.
Favorite Schools: Finley is hearing from "Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU and Rice."
He does not have any offers yet.
“My favorite school is Ohio State,” Finley said, “but I haven’t heard from them yet. Out of the ones I’m hearing from, I would say Texas and Iowa are my favorite teams.”
Skinny: “My strengths on the field are speed, intelligence, intensity and leadership.”
Finley benches 250 pounds and squats 410 pounds. He has a vertical jump of 31 inches.
Jeff will be attending a Texas A&M camp, and also wants to go to one more, although he is not certain where yet.
“The most important qualities for me in a school are the facilities, academics, and how I relate to the coaching staff.”
“The schools that I would love to visit are Iowa, Texas, Ohio State and Texas A&M.”
Finley is looking at political science as his major. His current grade point average is 94 (100 point scale).
