Position: Defensive line
Size and speed: 6-foot-3, 250 pounds and runs a 4.6-second 40-yard dash.
Statistics: 63 tackles, four sacks, three fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles, 30 tackles for loss and one interception as a junior. Elijah also has a maximum bench-press of 310 pounds.
Honors: All-conference, second team all-state Group II
Favorite Schools: At this time he likes Miami and Virginia. Besides Miami and Virginia, he has also heard from more than 20 other schools such as Boston College, North Carolina, Iowa, West Virginia and others. He also has an offer from Rutgers.
Skinny: Very seldom do you find a defensive lineman who can run a 4.6-second 40-yard dash. He is mostly being recruited as a d-linemen, but could also play linebacker. He is very aggressive and strong and he moves to the ball extremely well. Elijah played his ball last season for Camden high school, but transferred to Woodrow Wilson this past winter.
"I would love to play linebacker in college. Schools are recruiting me as both for now, but linebacker is where I would love to play. If a school wants me for d-line then that's fine too, but I'd rather play inside linebacker."
Whatever position Eijah plays he is sure to make an impact. Once the May recruiting evaluation period is over he should have a few more offers in hand.
