Position: Defensive end
Size and speed: Van Dyke is 6-foot-6 and 245 pounds. He has been timed at 4.8 in the 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Van Dyke has started on both sides of the ball since his sophomore season. He registered eight sacks during his junior season. Van Dyke has a 2.37 GPA.
Favorite Schools: Michigan State, Michigan, Purdue, Ohio State, and Wisconsin.
Skinny: Van Dyke, whose older brother Ryan was a quarterback at Michigan State, is an outstanding prospect. He already has a number of scholarship offers.
"Michigan and Purdue really like him as a rush defensive end," Marshall head coach Rich Hulkow said. "Those two and Michigan State have already offered."
"I know he's also looking at Ohio State and Wisconsin. It's tough to say where he's leaning."
"Doug's a good one. Michigan offered at one of their basketball games. Purdue offered here in the office. Bobby Williams offered last summer."
