Position: Cornerback
Size and speed: Whitner is 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds. He has been timed at 4.3 in the 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Whitner made 87 tackles and picked off three passes during his junior season. He also broke up 19 passes. Whitner has a 3.7 GPA.
Honors: All-Conference and 2nd Team All-Ohio
Favorite Schools: Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee, Iowa, and West Virginia.
Skinny: Whitner will be one of the country's top cornerback prospects. He has blazing speed (10.4 100 meters) and makes plays.
"I made it to Ohio State's junior day yesterday," Whitner said. "It went good. I met with coach Tressel. He offered me again."
"We toured the facilities and went to the (Ohio State-Purdue) basketball game. I met Michael Doss and some other players. But I didn't commit. I don't really have a leader."
