Position: Defensive tackle
Size and speed: Patterson is 6-foot-3 and 260 pounds. He has been timed at 4.85 in the 40-yard dash.
Statistics: Patterson made 120 tackles including 16 sacks during his junior season. He has a 2.7 GPA.
Favorite Schools: Ohio State
Skinny: Patterson is one of the top line prospects in the state of Ohio. He starts on both sides of the ball, but is projected as a defensive tackle at the next level.
"Ohio State and most of the big schools want me as a defensive tackle," Patterson said.
"I have about 11 scholarship offers so far. But my top ones that have offered are Ohio State, Pitt, Boston College, and Maryland."
"And I like Miami of Florida, and Michigan just wrote me a nice hand written letter inviting me to spring practice."
"Ohio State's my favorite. I know all the coaches there. They have a pretty big lead. But I'll probably wait till spring and go to some spring practices."
